A railway bridge over the Slavyansk-Donetsk-Mariupol highway was blown up near the village of Novobakhmutovka at about 13:00 on Monday, July 7, the novosti.dn.ua publication reported, citing the press service of the Donetsk regional administration.
A section of the bridge collapsed onto the highway as a result of the blast. A freight train was traveling on the bridge at the moment of the explosion.
Road services have closed this section of the road to traffic. Vehicles are being redirected through the population centers Novobakhmutovka and Rozovka, as well as through Ocheretino.
