Two bulk carriers will leave Ukraine’s Black Sea ports on 11 October, using the temporary route established by Ukraine.

According to data provided by ship traffic tracking services, the Castor bulk carrier was near Odesa as of 9:00 a.m. on 11 October, the CFTS portal reports. This bulk carrier, which has a deadweight of 78,800 tons, entered the Pivdennyi port to load cargo last Saturday. According to the MarineTraffic global ship tracking intelligence provider, the vessel is now heading to Istanbul.

In addition, according to the available data, the bulk carrier Beaver left the Chornomorsk port on the morning of 11 October. This bulk carrier, which has a deadweight of 81,800 tons, was part of a three-ship caravan that arrived at the ports of Greater Odesa on 5 October.

These two bulk carriers are the 18th and 19th vessels (including five that had been stuck in Ukrainian ports since February 2022) to leave the ports of Greater Odesa after Ukraine announced the new temporary corridor in the Black Sea without the participation of Russia, Turkey, and the United Nations.

At the same time, 20 vessels have already entered Odesa ports through the new route.
