The total tonnage of grain and other foodstuffs exported from three Ukrainian ports under the Black Sea Grain Initiative was 1,546,516 tons as of 31 August.
The United Nations announced this in a statement, the CFTS portal reports, citing the Interfax Ukraine news agency.
"A total of 139 voyages (77 inbound and 63 outbound) have been enabled so far," the statement said.
According to the statement, on 31 August, the Joint Coordination Center (JCC) authorized four vessels carrying more than 125,000 tons of food to leave Ukrainian ports on 1 September.
As reported earlier, the Brave Commander bulk carrier - the first of the vessels chartered by the United Nations World Food Program - delivered Ukrainian grain to Africa this week.
