The Mykolaiv seaport increased cargo transshipment by 6.9% to 22.233 million tons in 2015, compared with the previous year, according to data from the Administration of Seaports of Ukraine (ASU)

The volume of transshipment of liquid bulk cargo through the port reduced by 23.2% to 1.753 million tons in 2015, compared with 2014: the volume of transshipment of petroleum products reduced by 29.5% to 427,000 tons, the volume of transshipment of oil reduced by 24% to 1.172 million tons, and the volume of transshipment of chemical goods reduced by 27.4% to 53,000 tons.

The volume of transshipment of dry cargo increased by 11.9% to 16.815 million tons in 2015, compared with 2014: transshipment of coal reduced by 36.1% to 1.412 million tons, transshipment of coke increased by 13.9% to 413,000, transshipment of ore increased by 14.8% to 4.533 million tons, and The volume of transshipment of grain increased by 27.3 % to 8.735 million tons.

The volume of transshipment of unitized cargo through the Mykolaiv seaport increased by 5.1% to 3.664 million tons in 2015. This included 3.088 million tons of rolled metal (a reduction of 0.8%), 261,000 tons of ferrous scrap metal (an increase of 6.9%), and 290,000 tons of pig iron (a 3.6-fold increase).
