A new international train - the Odessa-Chisinau train No. 642/641 - has launched between Moldova and Ukraine with the introduction of the new train timetables for the period of 2013-2014, the press service of Ukrzaliznytsia has announced.
The train operates on the route daily. Departure from Odesa is at 16:48 and arrival in Chisinau is at 21:44. In the opposite direction, the train departs from Chisinau at 07:30 and arrives in Odesa at 12:18. It stops at the stations Razdelnaya-1, Kuchurgan, Tiraspol, Bendery-2, and Bulboka.
The train was expected to consist of modernized railcars and an electric locomotive from the Moldovan Railways, but it continues to runs in its old form because of disagreements on tariffs between Ukrzaliznytsia and the Moldovan Railways.
