A privatization auction of the state-owned Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi Commercial Seaport has been announced. The auction will take place on March 21.
The starting price is UAH 183.9 million (without VAT), according to the electronic auction portal Prozorro.Sale. The minimum number of bids required for the auction to take place is one.
It was stated that the assets of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi Commercial Seaport include 9 vessels belonging to the port’s fleet, 47 "pieces of motor vehicles" and 4 "pieces of railway vehicles". The port also has 18 gantry cranes and special equipment on its books. The depth of the approach channel to the port is 3 meters (the rated depth is 3.5-4.5 meters).
In 2023, all six attempts to sell the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi Commercial Seaport at a privatization auction failed.
