Former Deputy Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Viktor Dovhan announced this and published a photo with the caption: "Polish investment on the Black Sea may be interesting," the CFTS portal reports.
In a brief comment to the CFTS portal, Dovhan added that the Poles are considering the possibility of participating in the privatization of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi port.
The photo shows Bartłomiej Babuśka, the honorary consul of Ukraine in Tarnów and the head of the consulting company Fundusz Górnośląski SA, and Wojciech Balczun, the former head of the Ukrainian Railways (Ukrzaliznytsia) and now the owner of the consulting company WZB Trade.
As previously reported, a ninth attempt to sell the state-owned Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi port is expected. In 2023, six attempts to sell the port at privatization auctions failed. Two more attempts were made in the spring of this year.
In mid-May, the port staff asked the authorities to consider allowing ships to resume calls at the port to provide work for port workers.
