LLC Nibulon Agricultural Enterprise is interested in operating the state-owned Kherson Commercial Seaport as a concession, the seaport announced on its Facebook page.
“Ukrainian investors – JV Nibulon LLC – are also now interested in the Kherson Commercial Seaport. The company’s representatives led by General Director Oleksii Vadaturskyi visited the Kherson Commercial Seaport on October 2,” the seaport said.
Details of the visit were not disclosed.
As reported in 2016, Nibulon wants to operate the Kherson river port, which is under the control of the Ukrrichflot company, as a concession.
In early September, the International Finance Corporation (IFC) completed the drafting of a feasibility study for concessions of state-owned Olvia and Kherson stevedoring companies and began accepting applications from investors. Later, 25 investors from various countries showed interest in these enterprises.
