The volume of passenger traffic through the Boryspil international airport increased by 22% to 1,155,146 in April 2019, compared with April 2018.

This is stated in official statistics from the airport, the CFTS portal reports.

The airport handled 3,809,991 passengers in the first four months of this year, which is 17% more than the number of passengers it handled in the corresponding period of last year.

Compared with 2018, the number of passengers on regular flights increased by 22% to 903,252 in April and by 22% to 2,579,831 in the first four months of the year. The number of passengers on non-regular flights increased by 23% to 251,894 in April but reduced by about 0.3% to 667,787 in the in the first four months of the year, compared with last year.

As the CFTS portal reported earlier, the volume of passenger traffic through Ukraine’s airports increased by almost 22% in the first quarter of 2019.
