The Boryspil airport handled 994,200 passengers in November 2018, which is 33% more than the 747,600 passengers it handled in November 2017, the CFTS portal reports, citing statistical data from the airport.
Most of the passengers (584,200) were on regular flights.
Passenger traffic through the airport increased by 19% to 11.668 million in the period of January-November 2018, compared with 9.768 million in the corresponding period of 2017.
Of these, 8.936 million were passengers on regular flights and 2.731 million on non-regular flights.
The proportion of transfer passengers handled by the airport reduced to 27% this year from 28% in 2017. However, the number of transfer passengers increased from 2.72 million last year to 3.192 million.
As the CFTS portal reported earlier, passenger traffic through the Kharkiv airport increased by 19% in November.
