As of the evening of November 14, stevedoring companies at the Pivdennyi seaport had handled 20,000 tons more cargo than they handled in 2019, when port set its all-time record for the volume of cargo handling.
The port authority announced this in a statement, the CFTS portal reports.
In particular, according to data from the Pivdennyi port authority, port operators have handled 53.882 million tons of cargo since the beginning of 2020, compared with 53.862 million in the entire 2019.
As reported, port operators handled 51.558 million tons of cargo in the first 10 months of 2020.
