An explosion damaged a bridge across River Tyoply in the village of Nizhneteploye (the Stanichno-Lugansk district of the Lugansk region), 961 kilometers into the railroad stretch between the Ogorodny and Kondrashevskaya Novaya train stations, on Monday, the press service of the Donetsk railroad police announced.
The explosion occurred at around 05:30 on Monday. It damaged 100 meters of track and a 20-25-meter concrete section of the bridge.
This section of the bridge has been closed to trains. There were no casualties.
A team of investigators is working at the site, and reconstruction efforts are underway.
