Online sales accounted for 37.9% of the total number of Ukrzaliznytsia’s train ticket sales in the period of January-November, the press service of the company announced.

Ukrzaliznytsia’s online ticket service,, increased its share of the total number of ticket sales from 9.1% in the first 11 months of last year to 19% in the corresponding period of this year.

Electronic tickets can now be purchased for domestic trains, in addition to regional and additional trains. Ukrzaliznytsia’s online ticket system allows travelers to purchase tickets with QR codes, print them on standard printers, and board trains without going to the ticket office to exchange them for tickets printed on Ukrzaliznytsia’s official form. In addition, tickets can be returned directly through the website.

Purchase of tickets through the official website of Ukrzaliznytsia was introduced in May 2012.
