DP World TIS Pivdennyi began handling Maersk's daily L74 service in mid-August.

The first vessel to arrive at the Pivdennyi port as part of this service was the Safmarine Nuba container ship, the CFTS portal reports, citing information from TIS. In total, 638 containers were processed during the ship’s call.

The L74 service connects the DP World TIS Pivdennyi terminal with the Egyptian port of Port Said and the Turkish port of Izmir.

As reported earlier, the Maersk company posted on its official website in June an announcement stating that it would end this service to the port of Chornomorsk in August and that it would continue to serve its customers in Ukraine via the TIS terminal at the Pivdennyi port.
