The Uber ride-sharing company has announced the launch of its uberVAN service, which is intended for customers that need vehicles that are more capacious, including small companies, in Kyiv.
According to Uber, the prices for the uberVAN service will be calculated as follows: a base fare of UAH 45, UAH 1.8 per minute, and UAH 5.8 per kilometer.
The cancellation fee is UAH 80. For long distances, a fee of UAH 15 per kilometer kicks in after 20 kilometers.
The uberVAN service will use vehicles such as Mercedes-Benz Vito, Volkswagen Transporter, Mitsubishi Grandis, and others. One of the conditions for vehicles is that they must have at least six passenger seats and safety belts.
Uber now offers four services in Kyiv: UberX, uberVAN, uberSELECT, and UberBLACK.
In addition to Kyiv, uberVAN is currently available in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Geneva, Paris, Nice, Rome, Brussels, Warsaw, Milan, Munich, Lima, Bogota, Johannesburg, Pretoria, and Vienna.
