Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) launched regular direct passenger flights between Kyiv and Dusseldorf on 30 October.
According to the airline, this broadens the geography of its flights from Kyiv to Germany to four destinations: Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich, and Dusseldorf. Essentially, UIA now operates flights to four of the five largest economic, transport, cultural, and political centers of Germany (the fifth is Hamburg, to which the Ukrainian airline does not fly).
Flights to Dusseldorf are performed on Boeing 737 and Embraer 190 aircraft with business and economy classes five times a week: every day except Tuesday and Thursday. The flights depart from Ukraine at 10:00 and arrive in Dusseldorf at 11:55. The return flight departs from Dusseldorf at 14:15 and arrives in Kyiv at 18:00.
Prices of economy-class tickets in both directions (including all fees and taxes) are as follows: from UAH 3,072 (may vary depending on exchange-rate fluctuations) from Kyiv and from EUR 141 from Dusseldorf.
