Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) plans to launch regular Kiev-Beijing flights on 29 April next year, the airline company said in a press release.

According to the press release, flights to the capital of China will be operated three times per week (on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays) and in flights in the opposite direction will be operated on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

"A special offer applies to tickets purchased before 31 January 2015. For example, the cost of a flight from Kiev to Beijing (economy class, in both directions, all fees and taxes included) starts at UAH 10,780. The price of a ticket from Odessa, Lvov, Ivano-Frankovsk, Kharkov, Dnepropetrovsk, and Zaporozhe starts at UAH 9,240. The offer is valid from 29 April to 30 June 2015," the press release said.

Founded in 1992, the UIA is the largest airline company in Ukraine. It has a fleet of 35 medium- and long-haul aircraft of various modifications. It is based at the Boryspil International Airport (KBP) in Kiev.
