Ukraine imported coal and anthracite worth USD 978.654 million in the period of January-July this year, including USD 121.088 million in July, the Interfax Ukraine news agency reports, citing data from the State Fiscal Service.
The total volume of coal d supplied to the country in the first seven months of the year is 8.335 million tons.
During these seven months, coal worth USD 420.022 was imported from Russia, USD 277.501 million from the United States, USD 68.956 million from Australia, and USD 212.175 million from other countries.
Ukraine exported 391,953 tons of coal and anthracite worth USD 35.676 million during the period of January-July, including USD 4.034 million in July.
As reported earlier, Ukraine imported 14.697 million tons of coal and anthracite worth USD 1.773 billion and exported 7.047 million tons worth USD 521.017 million in 2014.
