The Cabinet of Ministers has decided to liquidate the Antonov state aircraft manufacturing concern, the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade has announced.
This is essentially a technical decision because the concern was not performing any operations – all its constituent enterprises became part of the Ukroboronprom state defense concern during the period of March-April 2015.
The government has instructed the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade to set up a liquidation commission and organize the liquidation of the concern.
As reported, the Antonov state aircraft manufacturing concern was created in 2008. It consisted of the Antonov state aircraft enterprise (Kyiv), the Kharkiv State Aircraft Manufacturing Enterprise, and the Civil Aviation Factory 410 (Kyiv).
