Ukrainian railcar manufacturing plants delivered 151 freight cars, including 69 flatcars, 58 hoppers, and 24 gondola cars, to customers in September this year.
The CFTS portal reported this, citing data on freight transportation in Ukraine.
"The structure of sales changed in favor of flatcars, which now make up 46% of railcar manufacturing plants’ sales, for the first time last month," the report states.
Gondola cars, which had long held the leading position in terms of sales, have become the outsiders.
According to the report, the Dniprovahonmash and DMZ Karpaty railcar manufacturing plants exceeded their 2021 sales figures for freight cars in the first nine months of 2022.
