Aeroprakt, a Ukrainian manufacturer of ultralight aircraft, has manufactured its 1,500th aircraft.
The company's chief designer Yurii Yakovlev announced this in a statement, the CFTS portal reports.
"Our company, Aeroprakt, has manufactured its 1,500th aircraft since serial production began in 1993! It is the Aeroprakt-32 aircraft with serial No. 296, which was exported to the United Arab Emirates," he said.
The company is registered in Kyiv. It manufactures two models of aircraft - the A-22LS and the A-32 models.
The company was founded in 1991. It had sold over 1,000 aircraft to Europe, Asia, the United States, and Australia as of 2018.
Russian occupation forces damaged the company's assets during their attempts to seize Kyiv in the spring of 2022.
