The Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority has invited tenders for performance of maintenance dredging work in the Reni seaport. The relevant information and tender documentation are published in the ProZorro electronic procurement system.
The total volume of the dredging work will be 41,600 cubic meters. It will involve removal of sand deposits at the entrance to the port and in the operational waters of its berths Nos. 3, 4, 8, 9, and 15-19, according to information from the Ukrainian Seaports Authority.
"The dredging project that we launched in the port of Reni is aimed at maintaining its technical characteristics. This is a planned process that, unfortunately, was not performed in previous years," the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority’s head Raivis Veckagans said.
Ukrainian and international companies can submit tenders. The deadline for submitting tenders is 29 August 2017. Dredging is expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2017.
