The Ukrferry shipping company (Odessa), the national operator of ferry lines, has announced the lowering of its tariffs for transportation of passenger cars (including SUVs) with drivers on the Ilyichevsk-Poti/Batumi route from 1 June. The press service of the company announced this in a statement.

The tariff for transportation of cars on the Greifswald ship will be USD 300 per vehicle and the tariff for transportation of an SUV will be USD 350. The tariffs include terminal charges at the Ilyichevsk, Poti, and Batumi ports.

The vessels travel on the regular ferry lines between Ukraine and Georgia twice a week - on Wednesdays and Sundays. The main ports of call are Ilyichevsk, Poti, and Batumi. The optional ports are Varna, Constanta, and Derince.

The Greifswald automobile and railway passenger ferry was built at the Matthias Thiesen shipyard (Germany) in 1988.
