Ukraine’s Ukrposhta postal company and Estonia’s postal service provider Omniva have signed a cooperation agreement and confirmed the reduction of postal rates between the two countries.
Ukrposhta’s General Director Ihor Smylianskyi announced this in a statement, the CFTS portal reports.
"The visit of the head of Estonia Post (Omniva), Mart Mägi, took place this week. I was glad to welcome him in Kyiv, where I had the opportunity to thank him and our Estonian counterparts for their support this year - over 74,000 kg of free humanitarian parcels alone. We devoted the vast majority of our time to the future and signed an agreement on cooperation between our companies. We also confirmed the reduction of rates between our countries, effective from January 2023. This agreement has a secret clause that is important for our citizens, which I hope we will talk about a little later," he said.
