The Ukrainian Railways joint-stock company (Ukrzaliznytsia) announced the dismissal of one of its top managers, Andrii Riazantsev, on May 26.
"The board of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia believes that all the company’s employees should abide by the code of ethics and family values. We hereby announce that Andrii Riazantsev is no longer an employee of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia," Ukrzaliznytsia said in a statement on its official website.
Riazantsev later confirmed on his Facebook page that he had left the company. “I decided to end my work at Ukrzaliznytsia today under the pressure that I have been under for half a year,” he wrote.
As reported earlier, Riazantsev held the position of director for business development at JSC Ukrzaliznytsia from June last year until May 26. Before that, he was the director of economics and finance at Ukrzaliznytsia. He joined Ukrzaliznytsia on December 14, 2016.
