The Ukrzaliznytsia public railway company intends to modernize 200 passenger cars in 2017. Ukrzaliznytsia board member Ireneusz Wasilewski announced this on Monday, 31 October, during a visit to a railway wheel production shop belonging to the Interpipe company (Dnipro), the CFTS correspondent reports.
As reported, 1,462 Ukrzaliznytsia carriages were repaired in the period of January-September. Most of them were on the Southwestern and Lviv railways.
Ukrzaliznytsia has set the goal of repairing 21,000 freight cars next year.
