The Production Support Center, which is a subsidiary of the Ukrainian Railways public joint-stock company (Ukrzaliznytsia), has concluded three contracts with LLC Trade Commodity for supply of 125,000 tons of diesel fuel and one contract with the OKKO Business Contract private company for supply of 10,000 tons of diesel fuel. These companies were selected via the relevant tenders in the ProZorro electronic public procurement system on 6 and 8 February, respectively, Ukrzaliznytsia announced.

Two of the contracts with Trade Commodity were signed on 24 February: one for supply of 25,000 tons of diesel fuel at the cost of UAH 555.9 million and the other for supply of 50,000 tons of diesel fuel at the cost of UAH 1.1 billion.

The third contract with Trade Commodity was signed on 27 February for supply of 50,000 tons of diesel fuel at the cost of UAH 1.1 billion.

The contract with OKKO Business Contract was signed on 28 February for supply of 10,000 tons of diesel fuel at the cost of UAH 198 million.

Ukrzaliznytsia currently has reserves of almost 12,000 tons of diesel fuel, which is sufficient for nearly two weeks of transportation if necessary. The company also has 12,500 tons for current operations.

The oil traders will deliver the diesel fuel in 2017. This quantity of diesel fuel is sufficient for more than four months of passenger and freight transportation.

Delivery of the first 5,000 tons of diesel fuel of the "Euro-5" standard under a contract with Trade Commodity began on March 2. The cost is UAH 22,188 ton (UAH 18.3 per liter).

Ukrzaliznytsia concluded five contracts with LLC Wog Aero Jet for supply of diesel fuel earlier in 2017. Four of the contracts have already been implemented.
