The Ukrainian railways joint-stock company (Ukrzaliznytsia) imposed restrictions on transportation of grain by the largest exporters on August 16.
Ukrzaliznytsia announced this in a statement, the CFTS portal reports.
According to information posted on the website of the state-owned Ukrzaliznytsia, a ban on transportation of grain in private freight cars through the Zhovtneve and Zhovtneve-Export train stations was introduced on August 16 until further notice.
The ban applies to the following recipients: MTP Nika-Tera (for CHS), GrainCorp Limited, Orsett Trading Limited, Oskondi Ventures Limited, Sierentz Global Merchants, Agroprosperis, Ilta Agribusiness, Astarta-Kiev, Louis Dreyfus Company Ukraine, and Kernel Trade.
As the CFTS portal reported earlier, the first time Ukrzaliznytsia imposed large-scale restrictions on transportation of grain to seaports this year was on July 31. The restrictions applied to transportation of grain to the ports of Odesa and Mykolaiv.
