The Ukrainian Railways joint-stock company (Ukrzaliznytsia) plans to optimize the number of its staff in 2022 in accordance with its financial plan for the year, the CFTS portal reports.
The explanatory note to the document states that the number of the company’s employees is projected to change during the year as a result of natural personnel turnover, as well as due to structural transformations (reorganization, liquidation, merger, centralization, etc.) aimed at increasing the company’s management efficiency.
The number of Ukrzaliznytsia’s employees is projected to reduce by 14,000 to 223,800 in 2022, compared with the forecast for 2021. In addition, the company plans to reduce the number of its administrative and executive personnel by 97 to 379 in 2022, compared with the forecast for 2021.
he company’s average monthly labor cost per employee is projected at UAH 15,792 in 2022, which is UAH 2,730 or 20.9% more than the projected amount for 2021 and UAH 2,610 or 19.8% more than the projected amount for 2021.
The average monthly labor cost per administrative employee is projected at UAH 91,848 in 2022, which is 8.1% of UAH 8,150 less than the projected amount for 2021 and 4.2% or UAH 4,040 less than the actual amount in 2021. The company aims to reduce the wage bill for administrative staff by reducing the number of its administrative staff and their bonuses.
For all other employees, who total 223,400 in the company, the average salary will be UAH 15,637.
As reported earlier, the average consolidated monthly salary of Ukrzaliznytsia’s employees was UAH 14,442 in November 2021.
