All vehicles are required to switch on their running lights or dimmed headlights when traveling outside population centers from October 1 to May 1.
In accordance with Paragraph 9.8 of the Road Traffic Regulations and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine resolution No. 111 "On Amendments to the Road Traffic Regulations" dated February 11, 2013, which came into effect on April 15 this year, all mechanical means of transport traveling outside settlements must switch on their daytime running lights or travel with dimmed headlights if they are not equipped with daytime running lights from October 1 to May 1.
