Wizz Air, a Hungarian low-cost airline, has made significant changes to its winter flight schedule from Ukraine.

An analysis of the carrier's booking system performed by the LowcostAvia company shows that the carrier has canceled more than 20 flights from Ukrainian cities in November and postponed the resumption of these flights to early December, the CFTS portal reports.

Flights that were scheduled to be performed from Kyiv to Salzburg, Tallinn, Larnaca, Riga, Katowice, Lisbon, and Bratislava, as well as some flights to Budapest, in November were canceled. Flights from Lviv, Kharkiv, Odesa, and Zaporizhia to some destinations will also not be operated.

In September, Wizz Air suspended several dozen flights from Ukraine until the end of October. The Hungarian low-cost airline has now canceled most of these flights in November.

Lviv-Bratislava – canceled until December 5

Kharkiv-Milan – canceled until December 19

Kharkiv-Vienna – canceled until December 4

Kharkiv-Berlin – canceled until December 4

Kharkiv-Dortmund – canceled until December 4

Odessa-Berlin – canceled until December 4

Odessa-Wroclaw – canceled until December 5

Odessa-Gdansk – canceled until December 5

Odessa-Katowice – canceled until December 4

Odessa-Bratislava – canceled until December 6

Zaporizhia-Wroclaw – canceled until December 4

Zaporizhia-Gdansk – canceled until December 5

Zaporizhia-Krakow – canceled until December 6.

The above-listed flights are no longer available for booking. Notification letters are being sent to passengers.

Passengers are being asked to switch to other flights with departure dates 14 days before or a maximum of 60 days after the scheduled dates of the flights; apply for a refund, in which case 120% of the original fare will be credited to the customer’s WIZZ account; apply for a cash refund, in which case 100% of the fare will be transferred to the bank card from which the payment was made.

The airline has not yet commented on the cancellation of such a large number of flights.

As reported, Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) has presented a basic flight schedule for the winter season. The flights will be operated on 26 routes, including 23 international.
