It is necessary to organize a discussion of the key areas of port reform within the shortest possible time, Prime Minister Arsenii Yatseniuk said during a meeting with investors and business representatives organized by the European Business Association, the CFTS portal’s correspondent reports.
According to Yatseniuk, the key areas for discussion should be the issues of fighting corruption, environmental and customs controls at ports, and interaction with railways to improve the overall competitiveness of the Ukrainian transport system.
A meeting of representatives of the new Cabinet of Ministers and the relevant ministry with investors and market participants to exchange views and ideas on these and other issues should be held in the near future.
