The Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine reported that in the period from August 1, when the first vessel was sent through the "grain corridor" from the unblocked Ukrainian ports of Odesa, Chornomorsk and Pivdennyi, 1 million tons of agricultural products have already been exported.

During this period, 44 ships left the 3 ports, heading to 15 countries of the world.

"In less than a month, the first million tons of Ukrainian food as part of the "grain initiative" were sent for export. For comparison, almost the same amount of agricultural products was exported by road transport since March this year. In order to export last year's and this year's harvest, we need to transship not less than 3 million tons per month from the three ports of Greater Odesa. I hope that together we will not only maintain the existing dynamics, but also significantly increase the volume of transshipment," said the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov.
