The ports of Skadovsk, Ust-Dunaisk, and Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi could be offered for privatization.

Ukraine’s Minister of Infrastructure Vladyslav Kryklyi announced this in an interview with the NV Business publication, the CFTS portal reports.

Asked which assets the Ministry of Infrastructure plans to offer for privatization, Kryklyi said, “Of the most interesting assets, we plan to sell three small ports – Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, Skadovsk, and Ust-Danube - because it is unlikely that someone will go there to operate them as concessions. They are very unprofitable and they do not have enough money to pay wages."

As reported, the Cabinet of Ministers decided on November 26, 2019, to privatize 339 state assets controlled by six ministries. They include 28 assets controlled by the Ministry of Infrastructure. The list also includes the Skadovsk seaport and the Ust-Danube seaport.
