The State Property Fund of Ukraine is preparing to add Motordetal-Konotop LLC to the list of assets to be privatized.
The State Property Fund’s head Vitalii Koval announced this in a statement, the CFTS portal reports, citing the publication Ekonomichna Pravda.
The profitable enterprise, which is located in Konotop, is a major contributor to budget revenues. It employs more than 700 people.
“Its customers are well-known companies such as Rolls-Royce, Scania, MAN, Iveco, Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, Renault, and CAT,” Koval said.
Motordetal-Konotop is one of the largest plants in Europe specializing in the production of cylinder liners for automotive, tractor, ship, locomotive, and stationary internal combustion engines.
Its production structure comprises iron foundries, machining shops, and auxiliary workshops.
