There was almost no grain storage capacity left in the ports of Great Odesa as of 27 October.

This was stated during a meeting between the Ukrainian Railways joint-stock company (Ukrzaliznytsia) and grain market representatives, the CFTS portal reports, citing the Rail Insider publication.

As stated during the meeting, only 0.3 million tons of grain storage capacity remains out of the 2.4 million tons in the granaries in these ports. This has created problems for the transportation of grain to the ports. In particular, it has resulted in abandoned trains.

It was stated that the grain storage capacities at some enterprises in the ports have already been exhausted and the grain storage capacities at most of them are on the verge of being exhausted. In addition, a reduction in the volume of grain exports by rail is being observed.

The reason for this situation is sabotage by Russia. In recent weeks, Russian representatives in the inspection team have been delaying the inspections of vessels near the Bosporus Strait in every way possible.
