The Antonov state aircraft manufacturing enterprise will participate in the Farnborough international air show, which will take place in Farnborough, near London, from 11 to 17 July. The An-178 transport aircraft will be on display at the air show, the press service of Antonov announced.
The An-178 has already participated in two air shows. The Ukrainian aircraft was displayed at the Dubai Air Show in November 2015 and at an air show in Berlin in June 2016.
The An-178 performed its maiden flight in May last year. Buyers from Azerbaijan, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and China have thus far shown interest in the aircraft.
The Farnborough air show is one of the largest in the world. It has been held since 1948. The Boeing Corporation is expected to sign an agreement worth USD 4 billion with the Volga-Dnepr airline (Russia), which is a competitor of Antonov Airlines, during the air show.
