The Antonov state aircraft manufacturing enterprise will participate in an air show in China from 1 to 6 November, during which it will present its An-178 and An-132 transport airplanes and its An-158 passenger airliner.
According to Antonov, China Air Show 2016 will take place in Zhuhai. Antonov’s President Oleksandr Kotsiuba will head the enterprise’s delegation to the air show.
Antonov and its Chinese partners are currently developing new joint projects. "The basis for future Ukrainian-Chinese programs are formed by the An-178 transport airplane with a load carrying capacity of up to 18 tons and the An-225 Mria airplane, the world’s largest cargo aircraft, which is capable of carrying loads of up to 250 tons," the company said.
The cooperation between the Ukrainian aircraft developer and Chinese enterprises is 60 years old this year. Antonov participated in the creation of many aircraft models in China, including the ARJ21 regional jet and the Y-8F600 transport aircraft.
