The Ukraina state aviation enterprise has concluded a contract with the Antonov state aircraft manufacturing enterprise on modernization of the An-148-100V aircraft, which is used to transport top Ukrainian officials, including the president. The total value of the contract is UAH 28.16 million.
The aircraft is to be modernized before the end of the year. Its air-conditioning system will be upgraded, its computer systems reprogrammed, and its meteorological radar, ground collision early warning system, and airborne collision avoidance system replaced.
A mechanized ramp will also be installed for the rear door of the aircraft.
