The Bohdan corporation has presented a 100% electric truck manufactured for the Banke Electromotive company (Denmark), the CFTS portal reports. According to reports by the LIGA.net publication, the truck was assembled at the state-owned Automobile Assembly Plant No. 1 (Lutsk).

The eRCV27 electric truck is designed for mechanized loading of solid household waste. The truck will be operated in cities in the European Union.

The Ukrainian company sees prospects for production of special electric vehicles for EU countries, where there is currently great demand for environmentally friendly vehicles. Ukrainian cities may also become interested in electric vehicles in the future.

In addition, according to Bohdan, the Ukrainian-made electric vehicle has received positive feedback from Banke Electromotive. Mass production of the electric vehicle is expected to begin under a large contract with the European company after completion of its certification in Denmark.

As reported earlier, the Bogdan corporation has signed a contract for manufacture of motors for electric trucks with the Electrotyazhmash company. This contract also provides for manufacture of electric motors for Bogdan trolleybuses and provision of warranty and post-warranty services.
