The Kremenchuk Trolleybus Administration has invited tenders for the supply of 20 new low-floor trolleybuses with autonomous operation (not less than 20 km), which will be financed with a loan from the European Investment Bank (EIB) under the EIB project "Urban Public Transport of Ukraine II."

According to the tender announcement, 20 new low-floor trolleybuses with a length of 11.5-12.7 meters produced not earlier than 2023 are to be supplied.
Each trolleybus should have a capacity of at least 80 passengers, including at least 26 seats, with at least 1 place for a passenger in a wheelchair and 4 seats for preferential categories of passengers.
The total capacity must be at least 80 passengers, including at least 26 seats, of which at least 4 are on the low floor.
According to the document, the required date of arrival of the first delivery is no later than 20 weeks from the date of receipt of the advance payment by the supplier. The required completion date is no later than 44 weeks from the date of receipt of the advance payment by the supplier.
To obtain the loan of EUR 7.6 million, last October the Kremenchuk City Council provided the Ukrainian Ministry of Finance with a local guarantee for the repayment of the borrowed funds by the company, and on December 22, the Kremenchuk City Council approved a loan transfer agreement for the EUR 7.6 million and a local guarantee for the repayment of these funds.
The agreement was concluded between the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Development of Communities, Territories, and Infrastructure, the Kremenchuk City Council, and the Kremenchuk Trolleybus Administration.
