The Boryspil airport topped Airports Council International (ACI) Europe’s ranking of airports with the highest increase in passenger traffic in 2018, the CFTS portal reports, citing information from the airport.
“The annual growth rate of passenger traffic was 19.4%, which qualitatively distinguished Boryspil among the major European airports. Without a doubt, this is an eloquent result of well-coordinated teamwork. We are working at the same pace,” the airport said in a statement.
Airports Council International is the only global federation of airport operators.
As the CFTS portal reported earlier, the Boryspil airport also headed ACI Europe’s ranking in May last year. At that time, the company recorded a 22.2% growth, ahead of the airports of Athens, Warsaw, and Budapest.
