Passengers arriving at the Boryspil and Kyiv (Zhulyany) airports on direct flights from Italy will undergo mandatory temperature checks from Monday, February 24.

According to the Interfax Ukraine news agency, this was announced by the head of Ukraine’s State Border Service, Serhii Deineko.

“We have decided that... all passengers arriving in Ukraine on all direct flights will undergo temperature checks from 20:00 today... I emphasize that these are the Boryspil and Zhulyany airports. There are no regular flights from other airports (in Italy)," he said at a news briefing on the situation involving prevention of the spread of coronavirus on Monday.

As reported earlier, doctors had detected the coronavirus infection in 152 people in Italy as of the morning of February 24. Three of them have died
