The Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Southern Operational Command has announced that the bridge over River Dnipro in the Kherson region, which passes through the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant’s dam, is currently unsuitable for use for the Russian occupation forces’ logistical purposes.
The Southern Operational Command announced this in a statement, the CFTS portal reports.
"Our ‘fire control’ over the transport and logistics routes in the temporarily occupied territories in the Kherson region resulted in cementing the status of the bridge near the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant as one that is unfit for use. The hit was accurate but effective," the Ukrainian military said in a statement.
As reported earlier, the Ukrainian Armed Forces has officially confirmed that the Antonivka bridge in Kherson and the dam in Nova Kakhovka were attacked in the evening of 7 August.
After that, it was reported that a HIMARS strike damaged the railway track and a section of an automobile road near the bridge near the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant.
