Bulgaria Air, a Bulgarian airline, has begun flying to Ukraine. The carrier performed its first regular flight on the Sofia-Odesa route on February 2, the CFTS reports.

Flight FB361 departed from Sofia at 19:21 and landed in Odesa at 20:54. The return flight to Sofia was scheduled for 21:20.

Sofia-Odesa-Sofia flights will be operated twice a week (on Fridays and Sundays). The flight timetable is as follows: departure from Sofia at 19:05 and arrival in Odesa at 20:30; departure of the return flight from Odesa at 21:20 and return to Sofia at 22:40.

The flight was performed on an Embraer E190 aircraft. The aircraft was manufactured in 2003. The aircraft has two classes and accommodates 108 passengers, including 100 economy-class passengers and 8 business-class passengers.

Until now, only charter flights from Odesa to the Bulgarian Black Sea resorts of Varna and Burgas were operated. Bulgaria Air performed a test flight to Odesa in December 2017.

Bulgaria Air is Bulgaria’s flagship airline. It operates short and medium-haul flights to countries in Europe and the Middle East. It has a fleet of 10 aircraft (five Airbus, four Embraer, and one Avro aircraft). These aircraft have capacities ranging from 26 to 140 seats.
