Leading companies in the Canadian aircraft industry will participate in restoration of the Ukrainian aircraft manufacturing industry, the Ukrinform news agency reports, citing the press service of the Ukroboronprom state defense concern.
A Ukrainian delegation reached the relevant agreement at the CANSEC conference and exhibition, which was organized by Canadian security and defense corporations.
"The parties held talks with giants of the Canadian aviation industry such as Bombardier, Pratt & Whitney, CAE, Magellan Aerospace, Bell Helicopter (MTL), Esterline CMC Electronics, and others, emphasizing the profitability of cooperation for both countries," the press service said in a statement.
The Cabinet of Ministers transferred management of the Antonov state enterprise to Ukroboronprom in spring this year.
