Container Transshipment At Odessa Port Increases 25% In January-October

Cargo traffic increased by 32%, at the terminal at the Quarantine Mole

Container handling at the Odessa seaport increased by 24.7% to 5.487 million tons in the period of January-October 2013 compared with 4.399 million tons in the corresponding period of 2012, the press service of the port has announced.

Cargo traffic increased by 32%, at the terminal at the Quarantine Mole (which is operated by the HPC-Ukraine company) and container handling at the port’s Khlebnaya Harbor container terminal (operated by the Brooklyn-Kiev Port company) increased by 10%.

About 600,000 tons of containerized cargoes were processed at the Odessa seaport in In October, representing an increase of 15% compared with October 2012.
