The state agency for automobile roads (Ukravtodor) is preparing several projects for construction or creation of toll roads, according to reports by Vesti.

According to Ukravtodor’s head Yevhen Prusenko, the toll fees will be 30 cents per kilometer for cars and UAH 1 per kilometer for trucks.

As reported, the toll roads are the Velyka Kiltseva ring road around Kyiv, the Rivne-Brody-Lviv-Krakovets road, the Kharkiv-Scherbakivka-Novomoskovsk road, the Kyiv-Odesa-Crimea road, and the Novomoskovsk-Crimea road.

Thus, for example, it will cost UAH 143 to travel from Kyiv to Odesa by car.

The roads are expected to be built with private capital, with the investor later retaining part of the toll fees.
