The launch of flights on the Kherson-Kiev-Kherson route, which was scheduled for July 18, has been moved to the beginning of August, the press service of the Kherson international airport has announced.
"The Kherson-Kiev-Kherson flight is being suspended until 1 August 2014 because of unsteady passenger traffic," the press service said.
The press service also emphasized that the airport has received all the certificates necessary for operation of charter and regular international and domestic flights this year during the process of implementation of the regional "Program for Restoration of Aviation Activities and Development of the Kherson Airport for in 2013-2015," with the support of the regional administration.
A few days earlier, the press service of the Kherson airport announced that the Dniproavia airline company would operate flights between the two cities, using Embraer aircraft. Departure from Kherson will be at 07:00 and arrival at the Boryspil airport in Kiev at 08:10. The return flight will depart from Kiev at 18:30 and arrive in Kherson at 19:40. Flights will be operated daily under this schedule.
As the CFTS previously reported, prices of one-way tickets for Dniproavia’s Kiev-Kherson flights will begin at UAH 1,200.
