A ship carrying a cargo of grain has departed from the Pivdennyi seaport for the first time since 24 February.

The Ukrainian Ministry of Infrastructure announced this in a statement, the CFTS portal reports.

The Sacura vessel is headed for Italy. It will travel through the Black Sea in a caravan with the Arizona bulk carrier, which departed from the port of Chornomorsk and is headed for the Netherlands. Sixty thousand tons of agricultural products are on board both ships.

A second grain caravan departed from Ukrainian ports a day earlier. It consists of three ships from the Chornomorsk port and one from the Odesa port: the Mustafa Necati tanker, the Star Helena, Glory, and Riva Wind bulk carriers, which are transporting almost 160,000 tons of agricultural products.
